San Antonio captures the spirit of Texas. Now the eighth largest city in the United States, the city has retained its sense of history and tradition, while carefully blending in cosmopolitan progress. San Antonio has a mild, temperate climate averaging more than 300 days of sunshine a year. In January, temperatures reach a maximum of 62 º Fahrenheit (17 º Celsius) while in August they climb to 95 º Fahrenheit (35 º Celsius). San Antonio average annual rainfall is 27.45 inches per year. The humidity varies from an average of 80 percent in the early morning to an afternoon level of 50 percent.

San Antonio is minutes away from more than a dozen small & quaint hill country towns and is in close proximately to many other large cities in Texas. Austin is only 80 miles away, less then an hour and half drive. To get to Dallas it’s 275 miles, approximately four a half-hours from San Antonio.  Houston is 197 miles away, a three-hour drive. A two hour (157 miles) drive South will get you to Laredo, and if you want to head to the coast, Corpus Christi is just a two hour drive (144 miles).
