MAME AWARDS 2001

The MAME Awards, held on February 23, 2002 at The Disneyland Hotel Grand Ballroom, honor industry achievements.  Centex Homes, Southern California Coastal Division was honored with the MAME 2001 Best Interior Merchandising of a Model With An Average Sales Price from $400,000 to $600,000 for Old Ranch in Seal Beach.

Award RAINBOW OF HOPE 2002

Centex Homes, Southern California Coastal Division was honored with the 2002 Rainbow of Hope Builder Award presented by HomeAid Orange County.  HomeAid Orange County is a non-profit organization established by the leadership of the Orange County Chapter of the Building Industry Association of Southern California, which builds and renovates shelters for the temporarily homeless in the community.

Award GOLD NUGGET AWARDS

This years Gold Nugget Awards were held in San Francisco - June 2002.  The Centex Homes, Southern California Coastal Division was honored with the Building Industry Community Spirit Award for the Precious Life Shelter in Los Alamitos, CA.  A Grand Award was also awarded to Centex for Tether Moon, Plan 3 located in Ladera Ranch in the category of Best Single Family Detached Home (2,300 sq. ft. and over on a small lot).  The Gold Nugget Awards have been hosted for the past 39 years and have honored an exceptional roster of winners in the Building Industry.  This years honorees emerged from 630 entries submitted from the 14 Western United States and Countries of the Pacific Rim.
